SEO Belfast Meetup

The last few years has seen a big increase in the number of Belfast companies & consultants offering some form of internet marketing, and in the qualities of some of these consultants. So maybe it’s time for a meet up.

If anyone involved in SEO, Pay Per Click, Affiliate Marketing, Lead Generation, Social Media, Copywriting, Analytics is interested in a meet up, here in Belfast to talk shop, network, discuss Search Engine Marketing, and do business over a few drinks then let me know or drop a comment here.

The weekend, possibly a Saturday night and a date in January would suit.

Update – Meetup is on Saturday 21st January @ 5pm in Eglantine Inn on the Malone Road.

Great idea Michael, I’ve been thinking we should do something like this – in other cities there are regular SEO meetups (with Manchester SEO being one of the better ones, giving birth to the SAScon conference). So count me in! Anything I can do to help, let me know.

Excuse me, I would like to point out that this is not exclusively an ‘SEO’ meet up – but will include respectable (PPC) people too! :-)

Something I would be very much so interested in. I can’t remember the last meet up I was at. It must’ve been last year in Manchester! I’m fed up hearing about all the designer conferences held over here, where is the SEO??

  27. Jordan McClementsNo Gravatar Says:

So, have you got the date and venue sorted out yet? :-)

  28. Peter RNo Gravatar Says:

    Hey Michael,

I just found this article by accident. If I haven’t missed this event, it would be cool to meet up fellow Belfasters.

I’ve seen your video on YouTube. You speak really well. Your articles on here are great too so it would be great to hear more from you.

I find it very refreshing that local experts are willing to cooperate.

Good luck and keep me informed.

    Pete

  29. MichaelNo Gravatar Says:

The date is Saturday 21st January.
Been a bit snowed under recently so I still need to find a suitable venue.

If anyone has any suggestions on a suitable venue then please drop me an email or post here.

@Pete, thanks very much. I agree, I’m all for sharing knowledge & experiences.

The 23rd of Jan is a Monday?

  31. MichaelNo Gravatar Says:

    Jordan – Saturday 21st January.

  32. Jordan McClementsNo Gravatar Says:

Oi- you amended your post (for anyone reading this who thinks I’m completely stupid)… :-)

  33. Jordan McClementsNo Gravatar Says:

    (Sorry – I meant ‘comment’).

  34. Peter RNo Gravatar Says:

Good attitude Michael. years ago, there was a terrible habits of designers and providers defending their own corners.

These days however, most referrals seem to come from fellow designers and service providers.

I fully acknowledge that nobody can be a ‘one man band’ so I’ll be delighted to hear about new local assets I can cooperate with.

The date is perfect – the day before my birthday – and I’m getting old now – so I might treat myself (and everyone else) to a pint or two. It’s been too long :-)

Thanks again for the welcome. Fantastic.

    Peter

  35. MichaelNo Gravatar Says:

lol :-) I thought it was best not to cause any confusion. I was looking at 2011 instead of 2012.

I can vouch for you not being stupid! ;-)

  40. MichaelNo Gravatar Says:
