Posted on January 16, 2009 under General

During the middle of last year with the credit crunch in full swing the effect on web designers was arguably neglible, indeed most web designers and design agencies were busier than ever.

Work Plans for 2009

Posted on December 31, 2008 under General

Well a flu-ridden Christmas is finally over and another New Year’s Eve is here, so it’s time again to make some plans for the coming year.

Looking back on my plan and goals for 2008 it was rather ambitious and with the amount of client work that I had I wasn’t able to cover everything in great depth though I was able to touch on most things. Promote your Business on Google Maps

Posted on November 27, 2008 under SEO

Pay Per Click isn’t the only relatively quick and easy way to get your business listed on Google. Google Maps offers every local business the opportunity to rank on Google without the cost of PPC and a search engine optimisation strategy.

The best thing about adding your site is that it’s absolutely free. Compared to a listing in Yell that recently cost £300 + VAT or an enhanced listing in 4NI it’s a must for any local Northern Ireland business so why not take advantage.

Posted on October 7, 2008 under SEO

Google now reads text in flash

Posted on July 3, 2008 under SEO

I’ve never been one for using flash in websites even though I dabbled with it in it’s early days. Don’t get me wrong I would use it now for some effects and decoration, perhaps to give a wow factor, but I wouldn’t use it for a whole site or important aspects of the site including the navigation.
